HAZEL M. EPLEY, a resident of Siloam Springs, was born Sept. 7, 1919, a daughter of James Albert Bert and Bessie (Hodgson) Geddis. She died Friday, June 6, 2008, at Siloam Springs, at the age of 88.

Ms. Epley was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Billye Lou Terherst of Siloam Springs; one son, Elton Epley, Jr. of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; six grandchildren, Pennye Perkins of Siloam Springs, Patti Woodham of Siloam Springs, Billy Ray Drewry of Mountain Home, Wayne Drewry of Green Forest, Kent Epley of Green Forest, and Don Epley of Blue Eye, Mo.; 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

On Aug. 12, 1939, Hazel was united in marriage with Elton Lehman Epley, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents and one son, Gene Epley.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Nelson s Green Forest Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, at the First Assembly of God Church in Green Forest with Pastor Mark Bryant and Pastor Kenneth Asbury officiating.
