Junior high track teams take third

MOUNTAIN HOME -- The Green Forest junior high track teams made a good showing at the Mountain Home Junior Bomber Relays on Monday, March 17, with third place team finishes.

"It was their first meet and they competed really hard,"?Coach Jay Martin said.

The girls scored 133 points behind Batesville's 185 and Mountain Home's 145, but ahead of Mountain View's 70.

"Bailey Singletary did well in the shot, was fourth at 27-6, and was third in the discus at 67 feet,"?Martin said. "Katelyn Goodman was fourth in the 100m dash, eighth in the 100m hurdles, fourth in the 200m dash, fourth in the long jump, and she placed in the triple jump.

"Jessie Kilbourn was third in the 100m hurdles and fourth in the 300 hurdles, and our three relay teams took thirds,"?Martin said.

4x800m team- Karen Alvarran, Korrie Erickson, Shelby Horton, Kelsey Bean.

4x100m team- Jessie Kilbourn, Abbie Tanner, Makynna Jorgensen, Bailey Singletary.

4x400m team-Tanner, Singletary Miranda Harp, Erickson.
