Eureka AG hosts day of prayer March 25

EUREKA SPRINGS -- On Tuesday, March 25, First Assembly of God of Eureka Springs welcomes everyone to its community service as part of 366 Days of Prayer for the State of Arkansas.

Churches all across Arkansas are signing up for 24-hour prayer vigils to heal the land, the State of Arkansas, praying for church, family, education, government, media, military and the market place, according to event spokesperson Karen Holliday.

First Assembly, a member of the Western Carroll County Ministerial Association, is one of 12 local churches who have selected the last Tuesday of one month of 2008 to participate in this event. Next month Holiday Island Presbyterian will host.

First Assembly of God, located at 350 Frontage Rd., Eureka Springs, next to Acord's, will be open for prayer from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on March 25. A special spirit-filled service of Praise, Worship and Prayer will be 6 to 7 p.m. when persons can stop to praise God for many blessings while praying for specific statewide healing.
