Troy Anderson 'Andy' Gray

TROY ANDERSON "ANDY" GRAY, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born March 2, 1949, in Newport, a son of Dr. Troy Ancel Gray and Helen (Wade) Gray. He died Monday, March 10, 2008, in Fayetteville, at the age of 59.

Mr. Gray enjoyed fishing, scuba diving, motorcycle riding, and running, but most of all he enjoyed his family, his friends, and Razorback football. He obtained his bachelor's degree and a master of social work degree from the University of Arkansas and worked as a clinical social worker at Ozark Counseling Services in Mountain Home and Ozark Guidance in Berryville.

On Sept. 23, 1972, he was united in marriage with Linda Sue (Taylor), who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Gray of Newport; two daughters, Robin Marlene and husband Raul Urgelles of Miami, Fla., and Amy Suzanne and husband Jon Robitschek of Honolulu, Hawaii; one grandchild, Taylor Christopher Urgelles of Miami, Fla.; one brother, Dr. David Kemp Gray and wife Christina of Springdale; a nephew, Travis Gray and niece, Kelsey Gray both of Fayetteville; one brother-in-law, Tom Taylor of Shreveport, La.; one sister-in-law, Marge Melton of Springfield, Mo.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 13, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs with Rev. Stan Adams officiating. Interment followed in Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
