Week of Feb. 28

Feb. 28

1:03 p.m. - A report was taken of a gas drive-off at the Exxon station on U.S. 62 in the amount of $43.46.

2:21 p.m. - A Pine Street resident complained that he had requested his neighbor keep his dog on a leash and that the neighbor had threatened him with harassing communications.

7:16 p.m. - An accident report was taken at the Pied Piper Pub stating that a white vehicle had hit a maroon vehicle in the parking lot.

Feb. 29

6:49 a.m. - Officer checked on an alarm at Arvest Bank and found it to be a false alarm.

8:10 a.m. - A report was received of a gold Crown Victoria passing a truck and trailer on Main Street by the train depot and then went up East Mountain. Vehicle could not be located.

9:30 a.m. - A report was received that a dining room door alarm had gone off at Ermilio's Restaurant. Owner told officer that it was a false alarm.

9:57 a.m. - A stray terrier-type dog was reported running loose on Mill Hollow. Animal control was unable to locate the dog.

1:47 p.m. - A report was received of a subject dumping trash along the tree line behind McDonald's. Officers found a bank employee who was dumping leaves on bank property.

5:26 p.m. - A Mountain Street resident complained of barking dogs on Owens Street. Dogs owners was asked to quiet the dogs.

11:08 p.m. - A traffic stop at Harts Grocery resulted in a DWI arrest.

March 1

12:15 a.m. - A domestic disturbance on Mountain Street resulted in an arrest.

3:09 p.m. - An intoxicated person was reported at the Razorback Gift Shop and was said to be staggering in the parking lot. Subject was gone upon arrival.

March 2

3:37 a.m. - An illegally parked car on Prospect Street was towed away, due to causing a traffic hazard.

2:03 a.m. - A traffic stop at Howard Johnson's resulted in the arrest of a subject who was driving on a suspended license.

12:50 p.m. - A vehicle which was illegally parked on Pine was reported and owner was told to move it.

8:44 p.m. - A report was received that two people were walking down the middle of U.S. Hwy. 62 near the Travelodge. Subjects could not be located.

10:15 p.m. - Report received that five males were smoking something illegal in the public bathroom of a downtown bar. Arrests were made.

10:25 p.m. - A prowler was received that a resident's ex-husband was stalking her on Echols.

March 3

7:04 a.m. - Officers responded to a Singleton address to check on a possible overdose.
