Matti B. Brown

MATTI B. BROWN, a resident of Berryville, was born Oct. 15, 1916, in Bostic, N.C., a daughter of Lox and Zora (Whisnant) Blankenship. She died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 91.

Ms. Brown was a clerk for Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation. She was of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews and other relatives, and a host of friends.

On May 20, 1954, she was united in marriage with Roy Ray Brown, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents and one sister, Ethel Hennessee.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Gene Gilmore officiating under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
