RITA KOTT, a resident of Berryville, was born Oct. 25, 1928, in Winnebago, Neb, a daughter of Donald and Ida Mae (Grace) Welch. She died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, in Berryville, at the age of 79.

Ms. Knott was a home health caregiver. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by two sons, Floyd Kott of Berryville, and Paul Kott of Colorado; six daughters, Connie, Colleen, Linda, Florence, Francis, and Cynthia; four brothers; four sisters; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one daughter; and two sons.
