LINVILLE GOODMAN of Green Forest, was born on June 2, 1942, to Virgie Madge Fletcher. Mr. Goodman died Jan. 24, 2008, in Fayetteville, at the age of 65.

Linville served his country in the United States National Guard. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Goodman is survived by two sons, Michael Goodman and wife Angel and Tim Goodman and wife Robyn both of Green Forest; and two daughters, Connie and husband Lyle Howarth of Springdale, and Victoria and husband Steven Tucker of Harrison; one sister, Sharon White of Timbo; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

On July 27, 1961, Linville was united in marriage with Patsy Ruth Louise Treat, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services were held at the Nelson Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, with Rev. Kenny Asbury officiating. Interment followed in the Farewell Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
