AUGUSTA EVELYN ELIZABETH WACASTER, 99, of Springdale, formerly of Harrison, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Holt Memorial Chapel in Harrison. Chaplain Chuck Bengston and The Rev. Chip Andrus will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Augusta was born at Yellville on Oct. 18, 1908, a daughter of Henry and Amanda Jane (Nowlin) Morris.

Before her retirement, she had worked as a teacher, mail carrier, hotel proprietress, and for the Employment Security Division.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Harrison.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Tom Wacaster; daughter, Connie Robison,; granddaughter, Nancy Knight; grandson, Bobby Knight; sister, Dorothy McEntire; Brother, Jerome Morris; and her parents.

Surviving are three children and their spouses, Jim and Renetta Wacaster of Springdale, Carolyn Knight of Siloam Springs, and Tommie and Fred Grim of Prairie Grove; a step-daughter, Clara Jane Presock of Hot Springs; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 James Rd., Springdale, AR 72762, or First Presbyterian Church, 220 Arbor Dr., Harrison, AR 72601.
