Elizabeth Pearl Ulmer Quinney

ELIZABETH PEARL ULMER QUINNEY, a resident of Holiday Island, was born May 3, 1946, in Little Rock, a daughter of JD and Aletha (Bumps) Ulmer. She died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in Holiday Island at the age of 61.

Ms. Quinney worked as a fund-raiser for the Ronald McDonald House and was an administrative assistant for various corporations in Little Rock. She was a proud member of St. James Episcopal Church and a compassionate friend to all of her neighbors at Peachtree Village. She is survived by two daughters; Heather Quinney of Eureka Springs, and Kelly Quinney of Austin, Texas; four cousins, numerous distant cousins; one aunt; her dog, Dani; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial services were held Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at St. James Episcopal Church with Rev. Edith Bird officiating.
