Berryville Fire


On Dec. 11, the BFD was toned out to provide mutual aid to Green Forest on a structure fire, but were told they weren t needed while in route.

2:46 p.m. Dec. 12 - The BFD was toned out for a traffic accident on Ark. Hwy. 21 South, about five miles south of Berryville. Volunteer firefighters provided traffic control.

9 p.m. Dec. 12 - The BFD was toned out to the same accident scene, to wash down the highway after the wreck had been removed from the roadway.

3:45 p.m. Dec. 14 - The BFD was toned out for a grass fire along Ark. Hwy. 143. Witnesses say someone get out of a vehicle and purposely set the fire, which burned itself out before firefighters arrived.

5:34 p.m. Dec. 15 - The BFD was toned out for a possible house fire at 602 East Church Avenue. The house was reportedly filled with a lot of black smoke, believed to be from a burned belt on a clothes dryer.
