VERA NAOMI SNOW, a resident of Berryville, was born Aug. 13, 1924, in Rudd, a daughter of Claude W. and Annie Mae (Ringler) Howerton. She died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, in Berryville, at the age of 83.

Ms. Snow is survived by her step-daughter, Brenda Snow of Little Rock; one sister, Barbara and husband Leonard Bartlett; one brother-in-law, Vernon Snow and wife Clemie; and one sister-in-law, Vieve Gibson, all of Berryville; several other relatives and a host of friends.

On April 12, 1954 Naomi was united in marriage with Troy Snow, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents and one brother.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with the Rev. William Foster officiating.
