ARLETA FOX, a resident of Berryville, was born March 23, 1934, in Long Beach, Calif., a daughter of Raymond and Barbara Lee (Murphy) Barrett. She died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in Berryville, at the age of 73.

She is survived by three daughters, Roberta Bergen of Idaho, Tina and husband Clyde Thomas of Berryville, and Regina Jeffreys of Berryville; three sons, Harley Fox and wife Donna of North Carolina, Kevin Fox of North Carolina, and Max Fox of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren, Ronnie, Shelly, Sheena, Holly, Tonya, Anthony, Corey, Sam, Alice, Crystal, Amber, and Dillon; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Kennedy, William, Adrien, Austin, and Kira; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dwane West; one son, Franklin Cox; two sons-in-law, George Jeffreys and John Bergen; and one granddaughter, Connie Fox.

Graveside services were held Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at the Eureka Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
