CLAUD PARKER, a resident of Marble, was born April 12, 1918, in Marble, a son of Ewing and Sarah (Crow) Parker. He died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at the age of 89.

Mr. Parker served in the United States Army during World War II.

He is survived by two daughters, Joyce and husband Max Miller of Washburn, Mo., who he resided with for four years, and Nancy Spotts of Bella Vista; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Hudson) Parker; his parents; two brothers; three sisters; and one daughter, Lynda McLaughlin.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with the Rev. Jim Capps officiating.
