RONALD GENE CHOPPER PAULK, JR., 36, of Green Forest, died Nov. 16, 2007, at his home. He was born Jan. 11, 1971, in Fayetteville.

Chopper graduated from Byng High School in Byng, Okla. He was employed as a service technician for Imperial Vending in Springdale. He had a great love for children, enjoyed reading, and riding four-wheelers.

Chopper is survived by his mother, Cynthia Courtney Castello, and step-father Robert Castello of the home; his father, Ronald Gene Paulk, Sr., of Springdale; one sister, Shelly Tapia and husband Jesus Tapia of Green Forest; grandmother Elaine Paulk of West Fork; grandmother Betty Courtney and grandfather Conrad Courtney of Desoto, Kan.; fiancÈ Lisa Armer of the home; three sons, Nicasio Franco, Christian Armer and Remington Armer; one daughter, Shelby Paulk; two nephews, Matthew and Riley Rogers; and one niece Kayla Rogers; numerous aunts, uncles and other family members and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister; grandfather Delmer Paulk and great-grandmother Nerva Paulk.

Celebration of life services were held Monday, Nov. 19, at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Green Forest with Pastor Tim Phillips of Grace Christian Center in Harrison officiating.
