Nov. 5

10:10 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a West Trimble address to investigate a vandalism complaint regarding the laundry room at Marks Apartments. A report was filed.

10:48 a.m. -- Police provided a VIN verification.

1:08 p.m. -- Police filed a harassment report.

1:19 p.m. -- Police provided a VIN verification.

4:10 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Public Square to work a two vehicle traffic accident.

9:34 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a South Springfield Street address to investigate a report of shot fired. No evidence of a crime was found.

9:57 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a North Springfield address to investigate a domestic disturbance complaint. The male subject had departed for the night.

Nov. 6

7:39 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to investigate a suspicious subjects complaint. Police could find no criminal activity underway.

8:08 a.m. -- Police were at the police department in regards to an assault complaint, but noted there was nothing criminal involved so far.

2:58 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Cox Cable parking lot to work a private property traffic accident.

3:51 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the intersection of Elm and Bobo streets to check on a possible disabled vehicle. The owner had called for a two truck.

6:26 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Shamrock Inn to investigate a disturbance complaint. Police arrested a subject for public intoxication.

6:45 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to an East Freeman address to investigate the theft of an ice chest from a front porch.

Nov. 7

2:27 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a West Freeman address to investigate a noise complaint. All was quiet upon arrival.

6:09 a.m. -- Police spoke to a subject at Wal-Mart about a problem person.

10:40 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart in regards to shoplifting. The suspects were gone and a report was filed.

10:55 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a highway location near Berryville Ford because a utility wire had been pulled down by a trailer. Police stopped the motorist and advised them of the incident.

11:40 a.m. -- Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle containing a shoplifting suspect and cited one for the crime.

1:10 p.m. -- Police provided a VIN verification.

1:43 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Charles Street address to investigate a loud music complaint. It was a property dispute, which was resolved.

6:25 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Cottonwood address to mediate in a dispute over children fighting.

Nov. 9

12:45 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Parkview address to assist with a medical emergency.

1:54 p.m. -- Police arrested a male adult on a warrant at a Freeman Avenue address.

9:31 p.m. -- Police provided a motorist assist on Freeman Avenue.

9:50 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to investigate a report of a blue Dodge truck driving recklessly. It was gone when police arrived four minutes later.

10:29 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the revenue office to investigate a report of a suspicious subject in the area. It was someone chasing a cat. All was okay.

10:33 p.m. -- Police found an open door and window at the school, contacted the resource officer, who locked things up.

Nov. 10

2:26 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Spruce Street because two boys were walking. Police followed them home and reported all was okay.

2:59 a.m. -- Police checked a vehicle with its emergency lights on at a car lot. All was okay.

9:43 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Cherry address to file a report on an assault complaint from an incident that occurred the previous day.

10:03 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Saunders Museum to investigate an alarm call. All was okay.

10:33 a.m. -- Police provided a funeral escort.

11 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Dollar Tree to investigate a hit and run traffic accident complaint.

12:33 p.m. -- Police met with a subject who found a cell phone and secured the item at the police department.

6:40 p.m. -- Police went to Hammons Street to check for a stolen truck taken from Springdale. It was not found.

9:38 p.m. -- Police went to an East Freeman address to check on a suspicious vehicle, a motorcycle with no tags. Police placed a 24-hour tow notice on the bike.

Nov. 11

7:02 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a highway location to investigate a case of a vehicle striking a deer. A report was filed.

1:39 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Sunrise Motel to help with a medical emergency involving a man laying on the ground.

2:16 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to Douglas and East Freeman Avenue to investigate a report of a dog who was preventing a subject from passing by. The dog was caught and contained.

3:19 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to Game Stop where contraband was reportedly found. Police secured what was believed to be a small amount of marijuana.

4:15 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a High Street address to investigate a report of a stolen battery.

7:58 p.m. -- Police went to a South Springfield address to arrest a male adult on a warrant.

9:11 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to Maple address to investigate a report of two pit bulls loose. The owner, on North Avenue, put the dogs up

9:26 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the K-3 school because a man was looking in the window. Police didn't find anyone, by stood by while a teacher departed the building.

9:43 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Country Court address to investigate a stolen money complaint. A report was filed.

10:41 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Huntsville address to investigate a disturbance. A female adult was arrested for battery.

6:51 p.m., Nov. 9 -- The BFD responded to a gas leak on Jefferson Street.

1:20 p.m., Nov. 10 -- The BFD responded to a gas leak at the old Leisure Lodge.

4:52 p.m. -- The BFD responded to a brush fire on County Road 517, and turned it over to forestry officials.

5:15 p.m., Nov. 11 -- The BFD responded to a flare up of the brush fire on CR 517, and again turned it over to forestry.
