Fred Armer

FRED ARMER, a resident of Berryville, was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Osage, a son of Lewis and Tildy (Fultz) Armer. He died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in Harrison, at the age of 82.

Mr. Armer was a farmer in California for many years, working on different farms; he served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Spavinaw House of Worship in Spavinaw, Okla.

Mr. Armer is survived by one son, one daughter, three sisters, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

In 1950 Mr. Armer was united in marriage with Audrey (Williams), who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at Rule Cemetery with Rev. Tobe Sperry officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
