Charlotte Brandt Schwetke, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, while vacationing in Eagle, Colo. She was born Feb 15, 1928.

She married Ed Schwetke on April 22, 2007. Ed and Charlotte enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and visiting friends and relatives across the country.

Charlotte and first husband Gayle Brandt farmed in Kearney, Neb., for 30 years and retired to Eureka Springs in 1974.

She is survived by her son, Roy Brandt and wife Deb of Tulsa, Okla.; her daughter, Kathy Panas and husband Mike of Edmond, Okla; one granddaughter Angela Eubanks and husband Greg of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and three grandsons, Ryan Brandt of Tulsa, Bryson Panas of Norman, Okla., and Kenton Panas of Edmond, Okla. She enjoyed spending time at the Edmond Senior Center, and attending services at First Presbyterian Church of Edmond.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Edmond Senior Center, located at 2733 Marilyn Williams Dr., Edmond, Okla. Burial will be in Eureka Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Charlotte Schwetke to: Edmond Senior Center, 2733 Marilyn Williams Drive, Edmond, OK 73003.
