Sept. 16

4:20 p.m. - A brown and white pit bull was picked up at the Sale Barn by animal control.

Sept. 17

1:13 p.m. - A minor personal property accident was reported at Pied Piper Pub and Inn. The parties decided to settle them matter themselves.

3:32 p.m. - An intoxicated man was reported to be at the eye doctor s office in Eastgate Center.

6:09 p.m. - A man was reported to be causing problems while being evicted.

Sept. 18

6:30 a.m. - An exotic animal was picked up at Roadway Inn and taken to the pound.

6:48 a.m. - A vandalism was reported to have taken place at a laundromat.

Sept. 19

5:34 a.m. - A loud party was reported to be on the front porch of a Pine Street residence.

Sept. 20

12:14 a.m. - A man was arrested at Thurmans Lodge for driving with a suspended driver s license.

8:06 a.m. - A four-year-old boy was reported to have fallen down the steps at Motel 6 and was breathing, alert and oriented. The child was taken by Eureka Springs Emergency Medical Services to Eureka Springs Hospital.

10:40 a.m. - A stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle on Emporia.

10:43 a.m. - A radio was reported stolen from a vehicle at Sherwood Court.

3:56 p.m. - A caller from Pine Mountain reported a red Chevrolet pickup being driven all over the road westbound on U.S. Hwy. 62. Police made a traffic stop, the driver was found to have a revoked license, and the vehicle was towed.

4:30 p.m. - A caller at Cafe Amora reported a hit and run accident. There were no injuries.

Sept. 21

2:41 p.m. - Report taken from a resident on Alexander that she suspected possible identity theft.

3:45 p.m. - A citation was issued at the Basin Park Hotel on a vehicle that has been parked in the hotel s loading zone for several hours.

7:59 p.m. - A report at the Swiss Villa Apartments of a fire turned out to be pine needles and officers were told it was a legal burn.

10:53 p.m. - Officers investigated a report of a prowler banging on windows and attempting to open a door at a residence on Echols.

10:08 p.m. - Report from a U.S. Hwy. 62 motel complained of someone breaking into rooms at night on several occasions and is always gone on arrival. Officers are doing extra patrol.

10:27 p.m. - Report investigated of the welfare of the driver of a car in Hart s parking lot with lights on after the store was closed. Officer fould driver was sick and waiting for his father to pick him up.

Sept. 22

12:25 a.m. - Noise complaint received from residence on Prospect. Party was advised to move indoors.

1:16 a.m. - Report that there was a reckless driver on Ark. Hwy. 23 South turned out to be unfounded.

1:31 a.m. - Report taken of a fight outside a downtown bar. Employee of the bar asked that officers return to the scene, fearing another fight would break out.

2:03 a.m. - Offficers assisted with an unruly patient at a residence on Pivot Rock Road.

3:40 p.m. - Vehicular accident investigated at a convenience store on U.S. Hwy. 62.

8:43 p.m. - Accident investigated at the corner of Pine and Prospect, where truck had run up on curb and its lights were still on. Officers found all was okay.

8:57 p.m. - Disturbance report taken from downtown hotel complaining of an argument going on between a man and a woman. Subjects were gone upon arrival.

9:36 p.m. - Subject arrested for public intoxication in downtown parking lot.

Sept. 23

12:36 a.m. - A suspicious vehicle was stopped by officers on U.S. Hwy. 62 across from Hart s. Traffic stop resulted in a DWI arrest.

12:59 a.m. - A fight was reported at a U.S. Hwy. 62 bar. It was broken up before officers arrived and subjects had left.

4:07 a.m. - Stolen property report taken at downtown hotel, but subject was gone upon arrival.

9:10 a.m. - A domestic disturbance was investigated at a U.S. 62 motel. All was settled upon arrival.

11:28 a.m. - A report from a Hwy. 62 convenience store indicated adults in two vehicles with Oklahoma tags were beating on kids. Subjects were gone upon arrival.

3:10 p.m. - Minor traffic accident on Hwy. 62 East investigated. Drivers exchanged insurance information; no reort required.

3:41 p.m. - Hwy. 62 cafe reported a credit card had been stolen. Incident report taken.

3:52 p.m. - A truck was high-centered at the intersection of Douglas and Armstrong, creating a traffic jam. Wrecker helped unlodge the truck and it was gone upon arrival.

3:51 p.m. - A woman on a bike reported she d been cut off by a motorist on Glenn Avenue. Subject was gone upon arrival.
