Friday, September 21, 2007

BERRYVILLE -- The National Federation of Professional Bullriders Invitational Classic event will be held at the Carroll County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 27.

This event will feature two-time PRCA bull riding champion Terry Don West, who has been featured in the PBR, Xtreme Bulls, PRCA rodeos, and at the National Finals Rodeo.

Terry Don West is also one of the few men to ever ride the most dangerous bucking bull in the world "Bodacious." Terry will be guest judging the event.

Additional stars will include Jody Newberry, 2003 PBR Rookie of the Year, and Reese Cates, who is currently in the top 40 of the PBR Challenger Tour.

Bucking stock will be provided in part by local PBR stock contractors Scott Buruss, Jim Bolliger, and Jack Simmons. Many of the bulls have been featured at the National Finals Rodeo, the International Finals Rodeo, National Federation of Pro Bullriders Finals, and PBR Finals.

This will be an approximate two-hour event that will feature many of the nation's up and coming bull riding competitors, as well as some bull riding superstars.

A muttin' busting competition will be held during the pre-show activities. Parents must sign their children up at the event prior to 6:30 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
