DON KUHN "The Golf Cart Guy," a resident of Holiday Island, was born Oct. 30, 1923, in Pulaski, Ind., a son of Leo Michael and Rosella (Raidersdorf) Kuhn. He died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, in Holiday Island, at the age of 83.

Mr. Kuhn was a veteran, having served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Carpenter's Union, and HIMGA. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by three sons, Donald Kuhn, Jr. and wife Toni of Hot Springs, Michael "Mick" Kuhn and wife Kathy of Holiday Island, and Kerry Kuhn and wife Cathy of Las Vegas, Nev.; one daughter, Barb Kuhn of Holiday Island; six grandchildren, Donald III, Donna, Chris, Michael, Scott, and Karla; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Sandra, Arthur, Johnathon, Amber, Tori, Tyler, and Ava; and a host of other family and friends.

On March 15, 1942, he was united in marriage with Winifred Swearingen, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents, two sisters, his grandparents, and one great granddaughter.
