Week of Sept. 10

Sept. 10

9:15 a.m. - Police cited a dog owner on Saint George Street for a dog-at-large violation.

3:30 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Phillips address for a welfare check but no one was home.

4:18 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a traffic accident. There was no damage and no report required.

5:58 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Circle Drive address to investigate a reported custody dispute. Police referred both sides to attorneys.

8:08 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a highway location near Pizza Hut where a car was stalled in the roadway. They pushed the vehicle into a parking lot.

11:40 p.m. - Police changed a flat tire for a motorist at Wal-Mart.

Sept. 11

4:13 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the intersection of Huntsville and West Monroe streets to work a traffic accident.

Sept. 12

9:51 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Ross apartment to investigate a loud music complaint. The music was turned down upon request.

1:05 p.m. - Police were at the police department in regards to a forgery case.

10:33 p.m. - Police provided a building check at the school.

11:09 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Potter address to investigate a domestic disturbance complaint. It was verbal only and one of the participants departed.

Sept. 13

12:14 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Westridge residence to provide a welfare check. All was okay.

1:02 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a highway location east of Berryville to backup a deputy dealing with a woman with small child.

5:33 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the nursing home to investigate an alarm call. All was okay.

5:50 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Saint George address to investigate a report of neighbors arguing and a dog on the loose. The dog was not found.

6:41 a.m. - Police summoned a wrecker after discovering a car in the ditch on Hwy. 62 Spur.

10 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Saint George address to assist the animal control officer with a dog at large issue.

4:20 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Casey address to investigate an alarm call. All appeared okay.

10:21 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Country Court address to investigate a possible disturbance. It was a misunderstanding.

Sept. 14

3:58 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the hospital to investigate a report of items found in the parking lot. It was a small amount of marijuana. Police said it would be destroyed.

7:40 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a North Springfield Street location to work a two vehicle traffic accident.

8:21 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department in regards to a theft of property complaint. A report was filed.

8:49 a.m. - Police had an abandoned vehicle on East Church Avenue towed away.

12:58 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Country Court address to investigate a breaking and entering complaint. A report was filed.

3:13 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Kerusso's to investigate an intoxicated subject complaint. The peron was arrested on a Barry County felony warrant.

4:16 p.m. - Police checked on kids writing on cars in the Wal-Mart parking lot and reported that all was okay.

6:19 p.m. - Police were at Bobcat Stadium to provide security for the county superbowl game.

8:34 p.m. - Police were in the high school parking lot to speak to those involved in a possible fight that was brewing.

10:09 p.m. - Police arrested a subject on the highway for public intoxication.

Sept. 15

8:03 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the Fairway Motor Inn to investigate a possible scam. The information was turned over to an investigator.

Sept. 16

9:15 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Brashears to investigate an alarm call. All was okay.

1:29 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a West Trimble location to check on a subject who was walking. He was taken back to his residence.

2:43 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart because a black vehicle was parked in the fire lane. It was gone when police arrived four minutes later.

3 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Phillips address to assist with a medical emergency but the subject refused treatment.

3:18 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an East Church address to investigate the theft of prescription drugs. A report was filed.

4:46 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an Ada address to investigate a report of a fight brewing between two men. Police intervened and one went home.

9:34 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Auto Zone to investigate a hit and run complaint.

10:53 p.m. - Police found an open car door on Cottonwood, checked with its owner and determined nothing was missing.

11:26 p.m. - Police checked a vehicle parked near the concession stand at A.L. Carter Field.
