Week of Sept. 3

Sept. 3

12:08 a.m. - A traffic stop led to the arrest of a motorist for DWI 3, and a passenger was charged with public intoxication.

12:34 a.m. - An officer reported all was okay at Kwik Kar after checking out a dispatch for possible breaking and entering.

2:54 a.m. - An alarm at a Sycamore address was checked and all okay.

10 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Williams Tractor for an alarm call. All was okay.

10:45 a.m. - Police provided traffic control for the annual fair parade.

12:50 p.m. - Kids looking in vehicle windows at a McCloud address prompted a call to police, who spoke to the youth.

3:31 p.m. - A kid riding a mini-bike at the city RV park had a visit from police after someone called.

9:56 p.m. - A male subject was arrested a a North Springfield Street address after police were summoned to a reported domestic disturbance.

11:46 p.m. - Police offered assistance at the scene of a one vehicle traffic accident with injury on County Road 426.

Sept. 4

2:31 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the Skate Shop to investigate a report of a subject sitting on a vehicle. It was the cleaning man.

8:52 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Castle Pawn to investigate an alarm call. All was okay.

10 a.m. - A vandalism report was filed after police responded to a call from McDonalds where a grease barrel had been dumped.

10:21 a.m. - A 911 dispatch to the Sunrise Motel was not an emergency, police said, only keys locked in a vehicle.

12:32 p.m. - A report regarding counterfeit checks was filed.

12:55 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a McKennon address to investigate a 911 call, but were unable to find anything amiss.

6:10 p.m. - A disturbance call regarding an incident inside Wal-Mart turned out to be an argument between mother and daughter.

10:09 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Locust Heights apartment to investigate a dispute complaint. Police advised both sides to avoid each other.

Aug. 5

1:14 a.m. - Police initiated a traffic stop for no vehicle license and arrested two subjects on warrants.

5:36 a.m. - Police provided extra patrol for a city address.

9:54 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a highway location to look for a gray Chevy S-10 pickup that reportedly hit a road sign and took off. I was not found.

12:40 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Carroll House apartment to provide a welfare check for the Department of Human Services, but was unable to make contact with the subject.

12:49 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the junction of U.S. Hwy. 62 and Church Street to work a traffic accident.

1:50 p.m. - Police provided a VIN verification.

2 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to work a theft case.

4:25 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a U.S. Hwy. 62 Spur location to investigate a report of a suspect at the door arguing, who was gone when police arrived fir minutes later.

7:30 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Sonic Drive In to look for a possible intoxicated driver in the area, who was gone when police arrived two minutes later.

Sept. 6

2:32 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Country Court address to look for reported prowlers. It was three people looking for a dog.

11:35 a.m. - Police filed a report regarding a private property traffic accident.

12:24 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a West Freeman Avenue address to investigate a domestic disturbance complaint. Police attempted to locate a male subject who left the scene.

Sept. 7

9:18 a.m. - Police provided a VIN verification.

2:50 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a highway location to work a two vehicle traffic accident.

8:27 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Craig Street address to investigate a hit and run complaint.

11:03 p.m. - Police initiated a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a subject for DWI 3.

Sept. 8

12:17 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a highway business to do a security courtesy check.

12:51 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the hospital emergency room to investigate a possible DWI. Police followed the suspect motorist and decided everything was okay.

2:18 a.m. - Police backed up authorities responding to a fight a Tanner Trailer Park and transported a subject to jail.

3:43 a.m. - Police searched an area around the intersection of Hill and Jackson streets after a young man took off running.

9:44 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Birch Tree address to provide civil standby.

10:42 a.m. - Police were dispatched to an East Church address to investigate a theft complaint. There was no evidence of a crime at the time.

2:43 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Phillips address to file a missing wallet report.

4:20 p.m. - Counterfeit bills at a liquor store required a report.

5:51 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Dollar Tree to investigate a disturbance complaint. It was verbal and the subjects were separated when police arrived three minutes later.

8:03 p.m. - Police responded to an alarm call at Tom Bar and reported all was okay.

9:10 p.m. - Police discovered a tree in the road on Freeman Avenue, across from the middle school. The public works department responded.

10:59 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the Exxon station in regards to a gas drive off. Police spoke with the suspect, who agreed to pay for the gas.

11:47 p.m. - Police initiated a traffic stop at the Exxon and arrested a motorist on a warrant and other charges.

Sept. 9

1:19 a.m. - Police found an open door at a school building, checked inside, and secured the door.

1:56 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Bobo address to assist with a medical emergency.

7:21 p.m. - Police initiated a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of a motorist on a warrant, and for DWI 2.

9 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the White Oak Station to investigate a report of a man sleeping in a vehicle with its lights on. Police arrested an adult male for public intoxication.

10:36 p.m. - Police were dispatched to School Street in Green Forest to assist with a shots fired report. Police arrested a female subject.

11:08 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the Carroll House Apartments to investigate a complaint regarding kids drinking and making noise. Police determined there was no drinking, but advised them to keep the noise down.

11:21 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hammons Street apartment to provide a welfare check. All was okay.
