WANDA PATCHEN, a resident of Holiday Island, was born Feb. 12, 1927, in Sullivan County, Ind., a daughter of Grover Cleveland and Lottie (Snodgrass) Brower. She died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 80.

Ms. Patchen was a member of the Holiday Island Baptist Church.

On Dec. 16, 1945, she was united in marriage with Earl Patchen, who survives her of the home. She is also survived by three daughters, Pamela Cullums of Arnold, Mo., Jody Patchen of Abbeville, La., Peggy and husband Rory Preis of Peel; one brother, Eugene Brower of Eagle Rock, Mo.; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Ryan Cullums.
