DENNIS WILLIAM SCHULZ, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Oct.14, 1943, in Woodstock, Ill., a son of Albert Edward Willis and Almeda Christine (Nelson) Schulz. He died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 63.

Mr. Schulz graduated from Crystal Lake Community High School in 1961. He was a veteran, having served in the Navy from 1961 to 1964. He later worked in the television/communications industry. He also enjoyed home and yard projects. He was a very devout Christian and he attended the Church of Pinnacle Hills in Rogers. He would like to be remembered as a loving husband and father, and a friend and faithful servant of God.

On Sept. 24, 1962, he was united in marriage with Deborah Jeanne (Naslund), who survives him of the home. He is also survived by one son, Jason Douglas Schulz of Burbank, Calif.; one daughter, Sarah and her husband Billy Nearhoff of Eureka Springs; and one grandson, Ben Nearhoff. He is also survived by his parents, Albert and Almeda Schulz of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 23, 2007, at the Evangelical Free Church in Crystal Lake, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Focus on the Family, Colorado Springs, CO 80995. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
