BERRYVILLE --David Ravenhill will be speaking at Berryville Christian Fellowship on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m., and again on Sunday, Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Berryville Christian Fellowship is located at 205 W. College Avenue, behind Price Cutter, under Williams Home Center.

According to church spokesperson Miriam Ross, Ravenhill's burden is to see the Church come to maturity through intimacy with God.

"We are greatly privileged to have this outstanding Bible teacher coming to Berryville this weekend," Ross said.

Ravenhill was born in England in 1942. In l964 he graduated from Bethany Fellowship Bible College in Minneapolis where he met and married his wife, Nancy.

He has served with Teen Challenge Center in New York City; Youth With A Mission (YWAM), based in Elm Springs, Ark.; and on the pastoral team of one of New Zealand's largest churches, the New Life Center in Christchurch; Kansas City Fellowship; and a thriving church in Gig Harbor, Wash. In l997 he commenced a full time itinerant ministry throughout the United States and overseas.

He has also taught at the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and has traveled with the Awake America Crusades.

Ravenhill has written three books, all published by Destiny Image Publishers in Shippensburg, Pa. He works solely on an honorarium basis, and has no newsletter or funding apart from his ministry gifts.
