He was born on Aug. 21, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Jesse L. and E. Fern Irvin Palmer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, was a Pentecostal miniser, and was retired from home-building.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Palmer, of the home; four children, Alisa Branham of Topeka, Kan., Virgil Palmer of Lawrence, Kan., Julie Clark of Paragould, and Mindy Sartin of Coal Hill; one half-sister, Pam Pennington of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Brian Palmer.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Church of God in Golden, Mo., with Bro. Darrell Harp and Bro. Gerry Bryant officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson, Mo.
