She married John Wesley Hammons in Metalton in January, 1939.
Ginny was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She had lived in Siloam Springs for the last 16 years since moving from Berryville.
Survivors include her husband, John, of the home; three sons, David Hammons and his wife Kay of Berryville, Dewey Hammons and his wife Jean of Tulsa, Okla., and Stephen Hammons and his wife Keiko of Berryville; one daughter, Carolyn Larkin and her husband Clyde of Siloam Springs; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Millard Bud Burgess of Tulsa and Raymond Burgess of Tulsa; and one sister, Kathryn Hopper of Lawton, Okla.
