MARY ELIZABETH NELSON of Metalton was born on Sept. 22, 1913, in Frankfort, Kan., a daughter of Peter E. and Johanna J. (Pinn) Wagner.

She died on Sunday, July 1, 2007, in Berryville at the age of 93. Ms. Nelson was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Berryville.

She is survived by two cousins and special friends, Neoma "Irene" Wilson, Joe Wilson, Sue Wilson and the Wilson family, all of Metalton.

On Dec. 13, 1939, Mary was united in marriage with Fred Nelson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 5, 2007, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Berryville with Father Thomas Arackal officiating. Interment followed in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
