DOROTHY McCURRY of Holiday Island, was born on Oct. 14, 1922, in Kansas City, Mo. She died on Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Holiday Island at the age of 84.

On Oct. 14, 1943, Dorothy was united in marriage with Randall J. McCurry, who survives her of the home. She is also survived by two sons, Randall James McCurry of Champlin, Minn. and William Scott McCurry of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Nancy K. and husband Doug Ralston of Park Rapids, Minn. and Janet Kathryn and husband Thomas C. Martinson of Silver Bay, Minn.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Pearl Robertson Brasfield, and one brother.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at the Holiday Island Community Church with Rev. Alan Thrasher officiating.
