ARTHUR ELLIS GADBERRY, of Eureka Springs, was born on May 3, 1918, in Shirley, a son of John C. and Clara Gray Gadberry. He died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, in Eureka Springs at the age of 89.

Arthur is survived by one brother, John Gadberry of Berryville; one nephew, Billy Joe Gadberry of Bixby, Okla.; one great-great niece, Patty Owens of Berryville; and a close family friend who thought of him as a father, Linda Curry of Berryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Katherine Perkins Gadberry; and seven brothers and sisters.

Graveside services were to be held on Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Beulah Union Cemetery. Interment was to follow in the Beulah Union Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
