GLENDA MARIE (ROACH) CAMP, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born July 4, 1944, in Eureka Springs, a daughter of Glenn Forrest Roach and Ruth Marie (Fisher) Clark. She died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 62.

Ms. Camp worked at the Crescent Hotel, Wheeler Printing, and the Inn of the Ozarks for many years. She was also a member of Faith Christian Family Church in Eureka Springs. Ms. Camp enjoyed studying the Bible, local history, genealogy, water coloring, sewing, and crafting.

She is survived her husband of 32 years, Norman Burt Camp; two sons, Warren Camp and David Camp; three daughters, Debra Plumlee, Karen Crawford, and Susan Tharp, all of Elk Ranch; two step-brothers, Rick Clark and Terry Clark of Eureka Springs; eight grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her uncle and aunt, Cleo and Dorothy Davison; two grandchildren; and one brother.

Funeral Services were to be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2007, at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs with Pastor Gary Hayhurst officiating. Interment was to follow at Gaskins Switch under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
