JEANNE SCHENCK, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Nov. 1, 1925, in La Porte, Ind., a daughter of Harry and Madelina (Fenton) Schenck. She died Thursday, June 14, 2007, in Eureka Springs at the age of 81.

Ms. Schenck was a physical therapist, having graduated from the University of Texas. She attended St. James Episcopal Church in Eureka Springs and was a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one cousin, Judy Toledo of Flordia, and a longtime friend, June Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
