Zona Marie (Burns) Rosebrock, 92, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Berryville. She was born Sept. 30, 1914 in Brownsberg, Ind., the daughter of James Elliott and Reona Pearl (Hornaday) Burns.

Marie, as she was called by her friends, was united in marriage to Herman Henry Rosebrock, on Dec. 31, 1934, in Indianapolis, Ind., a marriage that lasted 65 years until his passing in 2000.

She was preceded in death in by her husband, and two daughters Judith Ann Stephens of Midland, Texas, and Betty Lucille Mark of Dallas, Texas. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Lee Hale of Berryville, and Marcella Victoria Pickard of Indianapolis, Ind. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Berryville, and the Daughters of the American Revolution -- Bois d'Arc Chapter in Berryville.

It was Marie's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Methodist Church in Berryville. She will be interred in the Berryville Memorial Cemetery, next to her husband. A viewing will take place on Friday June 15, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Berryville from 6 to 8 p.m., with a graveside ceremony taking place on Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Berryville at 10 a.m.
