Geraldine, also known as Jeri, was a woman of God who loved Jesus, her church and her family. She loved to cook, and loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the St. John's Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Lana Jane (Porter) Youngblood of Green Forest; one son, Roger William Porter of Berryville; one sister, Jessie McKinney of Anchorage, Alaska; one brother, Marlow McClain of Springdale; four grandchildren, Ross Porter, Matthew Porter, Heather Youngblood, and Ariel Titts?worth; and three great-grandchildren, Harley Titts?worth, Lucinda Ray, and Madison Porter.
On Aug. 29, 1952, she was united in marriage with William B. Porter, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by six sisters, Orie May, Gertie, Eria, Juianita, Mertie, and Carrie; two brothers, Dean and George; and her parents.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Moore Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Harris officiating. Interment followed in Moore Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
