Mrs. Midkiff, daughter of Eugene Perigen and Jewell Lela (Williams) Perigen, was born on Aug. 22, 1942, in Sholten, Mo. She grew up in Aurora, Mo. and worked as a dietary assistant in the food and customer service industry.
She raised five children. She attended the Golden Baptist Church and was a member of the Church of Christ in Aurora, Mo. She loved baking for her family, loved fishing and was a volunteer helping the Eagle Rock, Golden, Mano, Fire Department, especially gathering toys for children during the Christmas season for their department.
She married Richard Midkiff in Miami, Okla. on Dec.3, 1985. He survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Brent Haworth and his wife, Marti, of Crane, Mo., Kent Haworth and his wife, Piper, of Purdy, Mo., Dale Haworth and his wife, Jessica, of Monett, Mo.; two daughters, Vivian Mc?Clelland and her husband, Roger, of Lampe, Mo., Ella Harris and her husband, Keith, of Aurora, Mo.; two step-children, Ed Midkiff and his wife, Julie, of Springfield, Mo. and Alan Midkiff and his wife, Holly, of Pella, Iowa.
Funeral services were held at Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo., with the Rev. Woodrow E. Fletcher officiating. Burial was in Viney Creek Cemetery, Golden, Mo.
Memorials may be made to the Eagle Rock, Golden, Mano Fire Department or to the Regional Care Hospice in care of the funeral home.
