Charles Frank Kesner

CHARLES FRANK KESNER, of ?Berryville, was born July 3, 1933, in Kingston, a son of Charlie W. and Donnie (Mitchell) Kesner. He died Sunday, May 27, 2007, in Eureka Springs at the age of 73.

Mr. Kesner was a paint and body mechanic and gun maker. He also managed the Luther Owens Gun Range Park for more than 20 years and attended the Eureka Springs Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Randy Perkins of Berryville, and Kim Kesner of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Frankie Wright of Berryville; one sister-in-law, Lynn Harris of Kingston; four grandchildren, Tara Escobar of Berryville, Piper Perkins of Tulsa, Corey Kesner of Tulsa, and Nadia Woods of Tulsa; six great-great grandchildren, Oscar Escabor, Katie Excabor, Maria Resendiz, David Resendiz, and Austin Resendiz, all of Berryville, and Nicolas Kesner of Tulsa; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Donnie Kesner; his wife, Geraldine Kesner; three brothers, Jay, Allan and Lloyd Kesner; and five sisters, Kate Smelley, Willin Austin, Alice Burke, Josie Thomas and Ruthie Kesner.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Jeff Taylor officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
