Lee C. Sills of Holiday Island, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was 74.

Sills was born Nov. 7, 1932, in Quapaw, Okla., to Homer and Grace Mae (Dooley) Sills. He formerly lived in Quapaw. He was a Korean War veteran of the Army. He worked as a mechanic for American Airlines in Tulsa for many years.

He married Wanda Lou Vicory on Jan. 29, 1954, in Douthat, Okla. She survives, of the home.

Additional survivors in?clude one son, Tony Sills of Irving, Texas; one daughter, LuAn Sills of Tulsa, Okla.; four sisters, Crystal Carpenter of Oregon, Wilma Busick of Kentucky, Francis Doolen of Kansas, and Carlene Neal of Baxter Springs, Kan.; and one brother, Grover Sills, of Quapaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy Sills.

Services were held Friday, May 12, 2007, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Picher, Okla., with the Rev. Clark Bosher officiating. Burial was in Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs, Kan.
