NOVELLA JONES, a resident of Oak Grove, was born Nov. 13, 1916, in Oak Grove, a daughter of Issac Henry and Delia V. (Plumlee) Jones. She died Thursday, May 17, 2007, in Berryville, at the age of 90.

Ms. Jones was a homemaker. She attended the First Baptist Church of Blue Eye.

She is survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Reta Matlock, and one brother-in-law, Ocie Matlock.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 19, 2007, at the Hale Chapel with Reverend Billy McCall officiating. Interment will follow in the Hale Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
