MILDRED L. DOSS, a resident of Berryville, was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Harrison, a daughter of William and Susie (Speaks) McDonald. She died Thursday, May 10, 2007, in Berryville, at the age of 84.

Mildred was a homemaker and she attended the Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville.

She is survived by one son, Bill "Goose" Doss of Berryville, one great-granddaughter, Asriel Elizabeth Ward of Berryville, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

On July 28, 1940, she was united in marriage with Jesse Doss, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, two granddaughters and one daughter-in-law.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 17, 2007, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Rev. Scott Cox officiating. Interment followed in the Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
