She was born June 22, 1921, in Tennessee, the daughter of Lunis and Cora Lee (Campbell) Shoffner. On Sept. 29, 1941, in Kokomo, Ind., she was united in marriage to Henry Murphy Sagarsee, who preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharlotte Beamer and her husband Terrance of Grand Blanc, Mich.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother and four sisters.
Ruby received her education in Tennessee where she graduated from high school. She attended God s Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She had resided in Indiana for a while then moved to Flint, Mich. When her husband, Henry, retired in 1969, they moved to Garfield, Ark., where they owned and operated the Lost Bridge Kennel. In November, 2002, they moved to Monett to make their home.
Ruby s favorite pasttime was writing stories. She was a member of the Nazarene faith.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark., under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo. Rev. Don Beeson conducted the services.
