Mr. Henry was united in marriage to Delsa Mallonee on July 8, 1933. He was a farmer and was also a line worker at Tyson Foods in Berryville in his later years. He was also an avid gardener up to the age of 88. He was a member and senior deacon of Airway Chapel in Berryville.
He is survived by two sons, Verlin O. Henry and his wife Janet of Topeka, Kan., and James R. Henry and his wife Karen of McCook, Neb.; one daughter, Eleanor Henry of Green Forest; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother, one sister and one half-sister.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Airway Chapel in Berryville with Rev. Junior Dotson officiating. Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Gideons and online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
