April 10

6:04 a.m. - Theft from a vehicle on Graham Street required an officer s report.

10:02 a.m. - A traffic accident on Hill Avenue required an officer s report.

12:25 p.m. - An open door at a vacant house prompted a call to police who checked the Academy Avenue home and found everything okay.

3:08 p.m. - A subject at the adult probation office was provided transport to jail because of Boone County warrants.

3:31 p.m. - A report regarding theft from a vehicle was filed after a subject stopped by the police department to offer information.

4:15 p.m. - A female adult was arrested at Wal-Mart for shoplifting.

April 11

2:12 a.m. - A medical emergency at a Locust Heights apartment required assistance.

10:14 a.m. - A debit card fraud complaint was filed at the police department

12:43 p.m. - A 1956 International truck reportedly stolen from Stone County was recovered at Tom Bar recycling.

1:55 p.m. - A theft report was filed after police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to speak to a complainant.

5:59 p.m. - A medical emergency at a Locust Heights apartment required assistance.

7:58 p.m. - A possible breaking and entering complaint at a West Freeman Avenue address was investigated by police.

8:21 p.m. - An alarm on Caddie Street was checked by police who found the building secure.

9:06 p.m. - A Magnolia Village resident was found to be okay after police were dispatched there to provide a welfare check.

April 12

7:39 a.m. - A theft from vehicle report was filed when police were dispatched to a Carter Avenue address.

5 p.m. - A female adult was arrested at Wal-Mart for shoplifting.

6:23 p.m. - A report of stolen property was filed after police went to a Redbud address.

8:17 p.m. - Police escorted the driver of a dump truck with no headlights home.

10:45 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to investigate a report of a child left in a vehicle. The child was nearly 12-years-old. Police spoke to the parents.

April 13

3:59 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a County Road 501 location to investigate a report of a vehicle upside down with unknown occupants.

7:15 .m. - Police were dispatched to an East College Street address to investigate a report of an attempt to steal fuel.

7:32 a.m. - Police filed a stolen vehicle report after they were dispatched to the police department.

11:51 a.m. - Police arrested a female adult for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

12:12 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Locust Heights apartment to provide a welfare check on children. All was okay.

4:30 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Eureka Street address in regards to unwanted skateboarders. Police sent them on their way.

April 14

12:01 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Daylight Donuts because a subject wanted to speak to an officer.

9:22 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Jefferson address because an electric wire was on fire.

10:18 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Russell Cellular to mediate a situation involving an irate customer.

10:53 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hammons apartment to investigate a domestic disturbance complaint. It was verbal only. Police provided standby until a subject decided to leave.

12:58 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Bunch Springs Road location to work a head-on traffic accident.

2:40 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hammonds address to mediate a verbal dispute.

10:22 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an Orchard Street address to investigate a report of a verbal argument. It was resolved.

April 15

2:55 a.m. - Police checked an occupied vehicle on Saunders Heights and advised the subjects to leave because the park was closed.

3:17 a.m. - Police were dispatched to St. George Street to investigate a report of an intoxicated subject walking. Police checked but no one was found.

8:50 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the Fairway Motor Inn in regards to a traffic accident that was turned over to state police.

5:59 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a South Main Street location to investigate a problem with a neighbor s dog. The dog owner agreed to keep the dog contained.

9:06 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hammons address to mediate a verbal domestic disturbance.

9:35 p.m. - The clerk at the Fairway Motor Inn requested a police standby for a civil matter.

11:42 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Price Cutters because an out-of-gas vehicle was blocking traffic. Police provided assistance and got the vehicle going.

1:18 p.m. April 9 - The BFD responded to an out-of-control controlled burn at a County Road 506 location.

5:28 p.m. April 9 - The BFD responded to an out-of-control trash fire at 23 Country Court Trailer Park.

April 13 - The BFD responded to a fire alarm at Wal-Mart that was a false alarm.

2:55 a.m. April 16 - The BFD responded to a medical assist at a CR 3272 location.
