JIMMY L. RIDDLE, 58, of Green Forest, died Saturday, March 24, 2007. He was born in Tyonza, Ark., to the late William Oscar Riddle and Annie Ruby Knott Riddle.
He was an active member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Blue Eye, attending church faithfully and loving to sing Christian songs. He was known as "The Peanut Brittle Boy" who served the Lord, had a beautiful smile and loved everyone.
Mr. Riddle attended Carroll County Learning Center for nine years. He served as a bus monitor at school, enjoyed helping with anything needed, and received many medals for various activities.
He is survived by seven brothers, Morris Riddle, his caregiver, and his wife, Norma Jean, William "Bill" Riddle and wife, Nancy, of Kingman, Ariz., Alton Riddle and wife, Vie, of Berryville, Alvin Riddle and wife, Michelle, of Connecticut, Thomas Riddle and wife, Laura, of Texas, Jerry Riddle and wife, Betty, of Blytheville, and Harvey Riddle and wife, Kim, of Missouri; four sisters, Sarah and husband, Bobby Franks, of Berryville, Martha Tipton of England, Ark., Carrie Patterson, of Blytheville, and Teresa and husband, Harvey Shinault, of Lepanto; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established at Arvest Banks. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 27, at Christ Tabernacle Church in Blue Eye with Pastor Tony Wilson and Dwight Wilson officiating. Internment was in Pickins Cemetery.
