PAUL EDWARD HISE, JR., a resident of Alpena, was born Feb. 21, 1963, in Hindsville, Ga., a son of Paul Edward Sr. and Ruth (Kipf) Hise. He died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in Alpena, at the age of 44.
Paul worked in construction as a bridge builder, but he will always be remembered as a "Jack of all trades." He was also a member of the Coin Church.
On Aug. 30, 1991, he was united in marriage with Janie Jo Belding, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by four sons, Steve Russell of Nixa, Mo., Joseph Armer of New York, Jason Russell of Fort Smith, and Mike Armer of Harrison; one daughter, Lisa Pauleen Hise of Alpena; his mother, Ruth Backus of Berryville; one sister, Pam and her husband Mike Morton of Berryville; his foster father, Kenneth Knox of Berryville; two grandchildren, Trinity Russell of Eureka Springs, and Cody of New York; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward Hise, Sr.
Memorial services were held Thursday, March 29, 2007, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Rev. Jerry Scitern officiating, under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
