March 5

8:40 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Smalley Street address to investigate an unauthorized used of a credit card complaint.

11:15 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department to met with a subject about a harassment complaint.

2:20 p.m. - Police provided a funeral escort.

2:45 p.m. - Police went to a West Church Street address to speak to a resident about junk vehicles on the property, and provide a copy of the city ordinance.

2:53 p.m. - Police went to a College Avenue address to speak to a subject about operating a business in a residential district, and cited the subject into court.

3:28 p.m. - Police went to a Hanna Street address to assist with a medical situation.

3:36 p.m. - Police went to a Smalley Street address to speak to the resident about trash and an inoperable vehicle on the property, and provided a copy of the city ordinance.

3:46 p.m. - Police went to an East College Avenue address to speak to the resident about trash and debris in the yard, providing a copy of the city ordinance.

3:55 p.m. - Police went to a South Springfield Street address to cite the resident into court for violation of the city sanitation code.

4:12 p.m. - Police went to a Pritchard Street address to investigate a stolen fuel complaint.

7:18 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Bunch Street address to investigate a report of a dog trying to bite people. Police were unable to locate the dog, and said the animal control officer would be notified.

11:25 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a U.S. Hwy. 62 location to assist with a medical emergency.

March 6

12:08 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Westview address to assist with a medical emergency.

12:44 a.m. - Police arrested a motorist on a warrant after initiating a traffic stop for a faulty headlight.

8:38 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Price Cutter to view a video of a shoplifting incident.

9:29 a.m. - Police were dispatched to an East Freeman address to investigate a harassment complaint.

11:19 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the adult probation office to transport a prisoner for the Springdale Police Department, but no action was taken because they would not extradite.

12:32 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the Exxon station to investigate a gas drive-off.

3:50 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department to investigate a theft from the Tyson Foods cafeteria.

March 7

8 a.m. - Police were dispatched to Country Junction to investigate a gas drive-off. However, the motorist returned and paid for the gas, saying it was an oversight.

4:30 p.m. - Police went to the Standley Addition to observe traffic after receiving a speeding vehicle and four-wheeler complaint. No violations were noted.

5:35 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Freeman Avenue address to investigate a lost keys complaint.

7:25 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the west city limits to look for a possible intoxicated driver. Police checked and found no apparent problem.

7:56 p.m. - Police were back at the Standley Addition to look for speeding vehicles.

10:35 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Nelson Street address to investigate a theft complaint.

March 8

6:16 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the Tyson parking lot to work a two vehicle traffic accident.

8:55 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Fancher Street location to investigate a report of people arguing. Police made contact with those involved and the matter was resolved.

9:40 a.m. - Police were dispatched to First Federal Bank to investigate a report of a possible intoxicated subject. Police followed the vehicle and reported that everything was fine.

3:47 p.m. - Police went to the Exxon station to arrest a subject on outstanding warrants.

7:45 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an Ark. Hwy. 143 location to assist a sheriff s deputy with an arrest.

10:48 p.m. - Police advised a subject in a vehicle at Saunders Heights to move along because the park was closed.

March 9

2:28 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a St. George Street location to investigate a loud music complaint. No music was heard.

6:54 a.m.- Police were dispatched to St. John s EMS office to investigate a truck running over a mailbox complaint.

8 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Graham Avenue address to provide a welfare check.

1:50 p.m. - Police went to the high school for a welfare concern. The subject was okay.

4:13 p.m. - Police went to a College Street location to look for a stolen dog, who was not found.

4:43 p.m. - Police went to a State Farm insurance office to investigate a 911 hang-up call. All was okay.

8:30 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Douglas Street address to investigate a pizza theft.

9:22 p.m. - Police arrested a motorist for DWI 2 after initiating a traffic stop for littering.

11:37 p.m. - Police went to a Hammonds Street location to follow-up on the mailbox case. A subject was cited into court.

March 10

12:50 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Freeman Avenue apartment to assist EMS with a possible overdose patient.

1:23 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hwy. 62 location to check on juvenile drinking. Police contacted parents for pickup.

11:33 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Pooh Pond Drive location to investigate a residential alarm call. All was okay.

6:03 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a South Springfield Street location to investigate a fight in progress report. One person was arrested for public intoxication.

8:43 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Kristy Street location to assist EMS with a medical situation.

9:51 p.m. - Police went to a Hwy. 62 location to provide a motorist assist.

11:05 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Bobo Street address to investigate a prowler complaint. Police checked, no one was found.

March 11

4:22 a.m. - Police assisted a deputy with an arrest at the Sunrise Motel.

1:20 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an East College Street address to advise a subject about a car title.

7:08 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department to speak to a subject about a noise complaint.

10:11 p.m. - Police went to the Exxon station and arrested a subject on outstanding warrants.

7:53 a.m. March 6 - The BFD responded to a brush fire on County Road 416.

3:47 p.m. March 6 - The BFD responded to a garage fire on South Main Street.

9:09 a.m. March 7 - The BFD responded to a report of a tree on fire along Ark. Hwy. 143, but none was found.

6:07 p.m. March 9 - The BFD responded to a report of a structure fire on Freeman Switch Road. It was a controlled brush burn.

9:10 p.m. March 11 - The BFD responded to a three vehicle traffic accident on Hwy. 62 east of town.
