Anna Pauline Collard

ANNA PAULINE COLLARD, a resident of Holiday Island, was born Jan. 12, 1915, in Almond, Ark., a daughter of Herman Ira and Mary Caroline (Tatum) Alexander. Mrs. Collard died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 92.

Mrs. Collard is survived by her son, Robert Liles Collard Jr.; three daughters, Carole Anders, Catsy Gunn, and Judy Mallett; one brother, Guy Alexander; one sister, Maeble Steczysyn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

On Oct. 18, 1934, she was united in marriage with Robert Liles Collard, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Herman Harry Alexander.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Little Rock, under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
