Wanda L. Stewart Johnson
Wanda L. Stewart Johnson, a resident of Berryville, was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Carroll County, the oldest daughter of Henry and Mattie Denney Stewart. She passed away Feb. 4, 2007, in Berryville at the age of 73.
Wanda L. Stewart and Floyd Johnson were married Jan. 26, 1950, and were the parents of seven children.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Floyd, of the home. She is also survived by seven children, Donnie and Ragene Johnson of Bentonville, Myra Dean and Charles Hull of Saucier, Miss., Ronnie and Linda Johnson, Joyce and John Marsh, Johnny and Tonya Johnson, Lonnie and Janet Johnson and Tommy Johnson all of Berryville. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Kerry Kelly, Chad Johnson, Stephen Hull, Dean McCraw, Amy Romero, Amanda Johnson, Jeremy Marsh, Jamy Marsh, Tamara Hall, Ryan Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Dylan Johnson; and ten step-grandchildren, Michael Mahurin, Kim Kingsley, Scott Collins, Stephanie Olive, Autumn White, Danielee, Heather, Melissa and Ashley Koerber and Johnny Timplet; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Wanda is also survived by one sister, Myra and husband Leon Beal; and two brothers, Keith Stewart of Kimberling City, Mo., and Wayne and and wife Linda Stewart of Alpena; several cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Charlie, Cleo, Melvin and Eldon Stewart.
Funeral services were held Wednesday Feb. 7, 2007, at Living Faith Church with interment at High Cemetery in Berryville under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
