Nolan was employed by Tyson Foods in Berryville, where he worked in the maintenance department for 13 years. He was a member of the Towering Oaks Church in Berryville. Nolan loved fishing and hunting, among other outdoor activities.
On May 7, 1993, he was united in marriage with Donna Gail (Knight) Robbins, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three sons, James Chaney and his wife Patti of Berryville, Tim Chaney of Green Forest, and Jason Chaney of Green Forest; two daughters, Tilenna Chaney of Green Forest, and Jaime Graves of Jacksonville, and Crystal Trask Fancher, whom he treasured as a daughter; his mother, Ollie Norris of Berryville; two brothers, Charles Robbins and his wife Sharon of Oak Grove, Lonnie Robbins and his wife Cindy of Oak Grove; seven grandchildren, Anastasia, Jona‚than, Emma, Micheala, Leah, Destinie, and Julius; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives as well as a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lindy Robbins.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at the Towering Oaks Church with Pastor Gary Hayhurst officiating. Interment was in the Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral. com.
