SYLVIA ALLRED HAGBERG, the daughter of the late John Martin and Mae Grogan Allred, was born March 23, 1920, in George, Ark. She died on Dec. 19, 2006, at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver, Colo. at the age of 86.

She attended Faith Bible Chapel Church as long as her health permitted.

She was a graduate of the School of the Ozarks. She was a hair stylist, employed at St. Anthony Hospital. She was an avid rose gardener and loved doing crafts.

She is survived by sons and daughters, Tom and Monica Phillips, of Broomfield, Colo., and Bill and Wilene Phillips of Nederland, Texas; and two sisters, Euteva Logan and Helen Stamps of Berryville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hagberg; two sisters, Grace Mullen of Victorville, Calif., and Virgie Stillings of Exeter, Calif.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Dec. 26, 2006, at Horan McConay Funeral Home, officiated by Paster Bulkley. Burial was in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
